eBay Sold Listings

Why our prices differ from eBay's sold page

eBay shows every listing that matched your words. We show what the item itself sold for.

How we work out prices
Wrong items left out
Cases, parts-only units, look-alikes and other models are removed before the median is worked out, so one stray listing cannot drag the price.
Best Offer at the real price
When a sale closed on an accepted offer, we show the price the seller agreed to, not the higher price on the listing.
Median, not average
The median and the middle range reflect a typical sale. A single record price or a giveaway does not move them.

Questions

How do I see what something sold for on eBay?

Type the item into the search at the top of this page. You get the median price buyers paid, the typical range and the most recent sales, including the accepted price on Best Offer sales.

Is this eBay sold listings search free?

Yes. The sold price search is free and needs no account.

Why is the price different from eBay's sold listings page?

eBay's page mixes in wrong items and shows the listed price on Best Offer sales. We leave out the wrong items and count Best Offer sales at the accepted price, which lands closer to what buyers really paid.

Which eBay sites are covered?

eBay US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Canada and Australia, each in its own currency.
